The South Knox Golf team captured the County Cup yesterday at Cypress Hills.
The Spartans were first at 306. Lincoln was second with a 312. Rivet third at 355 and
North Knox fourth with a 466.
South Knox’s Cameron Chattin was medalist with a 70. Top finishers for Lincoln were Dusty
Taylor and Luke Lindsey, who each carded a 75. Parker Steininger led Rivet with a 77 while
Hunter Noonan paced North Knox with a 101.
The Blue-Chip All Conference Baseball team has been announced. From Conference Champion
South Knox it is Pitcher Jacob Allen and position players Kaden McKinney, Zach Allen and
Jeffery Smith. From North Knox, named all-conference were Braxton Yenne and Eli Elkins.
And representing Vincennes Rivet…Nash Ransom and Hunter Bilskie.
The Blue-Chip softball team was also announced and making the list from South Knox were
Pitcher Ally Sims and Lily Culp. From North Knox were Ally Crist and Javen Miller.
Finally, All conference tennis was announced and from Conference champion South Knox it was
Grace Arnold, Caroline Beard, Grace Carie, Abby Cunningham, Ally Hayden and Anna Provines.
Also on the team was Vincennes Rivet’s Claudia Herman.
