Two large items collections are coming back to the City of Vincennes next month. Tomorrow, and again on Saturday, June 8th, Vincennes citizens can bring large items for disposal to Republic Services at 2706 North Second Street.
The collection will be from eight to 11:30 sharp both Saturdays. The acceptance is for large items too big to place in a trash bag. Accepted items include household furniture, mattresses, large toys, carpeting tied in three-foot bundles, and regular appliances without CFC’s. Common items with CFC’s that won’t be accepted are refrigerators and air conditioners.
Photo ID is required to prove you are a Vincennes resident, since the collection is for City residents only. More information is available by calling the Vincennes Street and Sanitation Department, or Republic Services in Vincennes.
