A Vincennes man was found guilty this afternoon on a single count of child molesting to a child under 14 at the time.
71 year-old Milfred Wallace was convicted of the action on a 12 year-old juvenile victim at the time of the incident. The two-day Knox Circuit Court trial ended with the Wallace’s conviction.
Knox Circuit Court Judge Monica Gilmore set a July third sentencing in the case. According to Knox County Prosecutor Dirk Carnahan, this was Wallace’s second child molesting conviction; the earlier was reported to have happened in 1992.
