The group Rotary Young Leaders plans to take funds from a better than expected April event, and use it to improve the basketball courts at Lester Square. Allie Bobe is with Rotary Young Leaders; she says the eclipse-related run was very successful in many ways.
The basketball court renovation will join ongoing work at the Lester Square skate park. Bobe hopes those two attractions together will attract young people. and older ones as well.
Rotary Young Leaders officials will work with the City of Vincennes on the nuts and bolts of improving the Lester Square basketball facility.
