One more day of free large item collection will be available for Vincennes residents at Republic Services’ location on Second Street. The dropoff will be from eight to 11:30 a-m sharp. The gates for Republic Services will close promptly at 11:30 tomorrow morning.
Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum encourages all City residents to get involved in the large item dropoff tomorrow. If you have large items, and can’t get there tomorrow, Mayor Yochum gives another option that isn’t free– but is cheap. That option is to place four stickers on your large item, and contact the City Street Department for disposal.
The service is available to Vincennes residents only. City officials will check identifications, to ensure those using the service live inside the City limits.
