Just over two weeks remain before the annual Fourth of July Celebration at and around Patrick Henry Square in Vincennes. Fourth of July activities start ramping up downtown with the annual Fourth of July parade staring at six that evening, and ending with fireworks over the Wabash River at dusk.
The City Fire Department will also head up various food booths and trucks in downtown Vincennes. Along with those activities is a national touring bluegrass band. Vincennes City Council president Brian Grove believes the band’s addition to downtown events will make that area the place to be the evening of July Fourth.
Other activities are also planned for that day and evening as well. More information is available through Vincennes City Hall.
