The Triple A Motor Club says the average price of gas in Indiana Monday stood at $3.44 a gallon, a penny lower than Sunday and a penny lower than Monday’s national average.
Indiana’s average was also 11 cents higher than a week ago, eight cents lower than a month ago, and 16 cents lower than a year ago. Some Vincennes stations are selling self-serve regular unleaded for below 3-20 a gallon.
Meanwhile, Triple A reports the average price of diesel fuel in Indiana Monday was $3.78 a gallon, the same as Sunday.
It was also two cents lower than a week ago, 17 cents lower than a month ago, and 21 cents lower than a year ago.
