Knox County Clerk David Shelton says the Knox County Democratic Party has until noon on July 3rd to fill ballot vacancies for local office.
Currently, there is not a single Democratic candidate appearing on the local ballot.
Shelton says that even with that deadline, the ballot will not be set until mid-July, as the Indiana Democratic Party will not hold their State Convention until July 13th, where they will select their nominations for Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General.
