The Vincennes City Council heard an update last night on a proposed fixed bus route in the City. Route organizers brought a rough draft of the route before Council last night.
Consultant Christy Campbell spoke to Council about the bus service itself. Van Go would actually run the service as part of its overall work in the community. Campbell promises to work with all stakeholders to get the route in place.
The plan at this time is to set up bus stop signs in September, with fixed services to start in October. The City and Van Go officials are working ona grant to fund the service.
