Cleanup is underway on a portion of the Old Decker School Building in southern Knox County due to extensive fire damage.
So far, no word on the cause of Tuesday night’s fire at the former school which has recently been used as a sawmill.
The gym, which housed the sawmill operations, was saved by firefighters and the only part of the building not demolished.
The owners of the property are assessing the damage.
They are asking the public to stay off the property due to safety concerns.
