Vincennes Water Utilities officials expect the City’s newest water tank to be ready for use soon. The actual construction of the tank at Hart Street and Richard Bauer Drive started last year.
Vincennes Water Utilities general manager Kirk Bouchie says the plant’s completion time was thrown off by a delay in the spring. However, Bouchie believes the tower itself will be in service within a few weeks.
The new tank is being considered a big help for water customers to growth areas in eastern Vincennes. It will also help those residents south of Vincennes.
