Good Samaritan Hospital has named Brenda Winkler to be its new Chief Nursing Officer. Winkler had served as the interim chief nursing officer from May second to June 19th of this year, before being named to the job permanently.
Winkler takes the position following a 37 year career at Good Samaritan. Prior to becoming the chief nursing officer, she had served as the Hospital’s Director of Peri-Operative Services.
Winkler also comes to the positions with a Master’s degree in Leadership Management. Hospital officials say a successful interim period led to her taking the position permanently.
