Knox County Highway crews are set to work on three different roads today, as part of its overall paving work for this summer.
Today, the work will be on Tilly Road westward from State Road 159. The overlay work will require a complete closure today. Also, Monty Road will be closed from U-S 50 to Old U-S 50; that will be for shoulder stone work. The affected part of Monty Road will be closed to regular traffic, but emergency traffic will still have access to the road.
The other major project is seal coating on Hazelwood Drive and Appaloosa Drive. Both roads will be open to traffic today, but traffic flow will be restricted while work is going on.
County Highway crews also remind everyone various chip-seal projects are happening across the county. The affected roads will be closed to all but emergency traffic while that work is going on.
