Vincennes Water Utilities officials have been working to repair various manholes in and just north of downtown Vincennes. The work can cause some traffic difficulties during the times crews are working on the structures.
Vincennes Water Utilities general manager Kirk Bouchie says their first work on the structures was to keep the problem from getting worse.
After the manholes were stabilized, Vincennes Utilities hired a Central Indiana company to line them. Bouchie says the out of area company was needed, since no local companies were able to do the lining work.
