Changes could be coming soon to the diplomas which high school students in Indiana could receive. State Education Secretary Dr. Katie Jenner says the current diploma requirements are outdated and that a new proposal gives students the option to choose a path that emphasizes vocational or educational skills.
Not all lawmakers are on board with the proposal. State Rep. Victoria Wilburn (D-Noblesville), says she feels too many current graduation requirements would be tossed if the proposal were to become law.
