With school about to start again, the United Way of Knox County is jumpstarting its “Bedtime in a Box” program. The bedtime-readiness kit was delivered to all new kindergarten students attending the United Way’s :Jump-Start” program.
David Hill is with the United Way of Knox County. He has proof that scheduled bedtimes– and bedtime routines– lead to overall student progress. In Knox County, Hill knows a vital barometer to test the program’s effectiveness in Knox County is coming this school year.
In addition, “Bedtime in a Box” sets will be given to preschool students later this year.
