The Knox County Health Department is working through Saturday morning’s Farmers Market sessions at the Riverfront Pavilion in Vincennes. Throughout this season, they have offered blood pressure checks during Market Saturdays as part of their community service.
Another part of their community service will be giving flu and COVID vaccinations starting late next month. Knox County Health Department chief nurse Betty Lankford warns everyone the two shots will not be given in combination, but separately as requested.
In addition, the free blood pressure screenings will contiue through the Farmers’ Market’s annual run into October.
