Good Samaritan Hospital will offer free stroke screenings on Wednesday of next week. The screenings will be held at the Hedde Education Center on South Seventh Street.
During the screenings, various information booths will be set up for further stroke education. Also during the event, the Knox County Health Department will offer body-mass index and blood sugar testing for those attending.
Even though the screening is free, appointments are required, due to limited availability. Appointments are available by calling 812-885-3336.
