It took an extra month, but a potential new restaurant’s rezoning has been approved by the Knox County Area Plan Commission. The rezoning would go from R-A rural residence to C-2 general business. The rezoned ground is on the southeast corner of the intersection of Hart Street and Bierhaus Boulevard.
The request by Ready Farms was supposed to go before the Commission last month. However, a lack of a voting quorum pushed the issue back to last night’s session.
A-P-C members approved the rezoning unanimously.
