The Vincennes City Council has approved a move to start an Economic Development Commission. Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum says the new board is required, as part of the development of Bierhaus Flats. Mayor Yochum knows City officials will name at least two of three people on that commission.
Along with Bierhaus Flats, the new E-D-C will use its authority to help with other housing projects planned for the future in Vincennes.
