Even with extreme hot weather in the forecast this week, one group is looking forward to the colder weather of the Christmas season. The Knox County Salvation Army is only a few days away from seeking bell-ringers for the coming kettle campaign. The Salvaton Army bells will start ringing on Friday, November 29th.
Knox County Salvation Army commander Joey Gates reminds everyone their kettle sites this Christmas season will be an all-volunteer effort.
Those signing up for volunteer bell-ringing can select their preferred day and time, as well as location, where they prefer to volunteer this Christmas season.
