Vincennes Police Chief Jon Hillenbrand reported to City officials about improvements in a couple of V-P-D areas. Hillenbrand made his update at this week’s Vincennes Board of Works session.
In manpower numbers, Hillenbrand says they aren’t where they need to be yet– but are in better shape than they have been in decades. Another successful project is an electrical upgrade at City Police headquarters. Hillenbrand says those improvements went as planned.
At this point, four potential police officers are in the hiring pipelne. Others are either completing advanced training, or going through the Indiana Police Academy.
