As expected, part of Washington Avenue will be open for traffic to attend the Vincennes Lincoln football game at Inman Field tomorrow night. The Vincennes Lincoln Alices will host Evansville Reitz at Inman with a 7:30 pm kickoff Friday night.
Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum reminds everyone the field’s parking lot will be accessible from Emison Avenue– but only to a point. As for the entire project, Mayor Yochum says it is on time to finish at the end of the current construction season.
The first few layers of asphalt are being finalized on that stretch this week. The wait will be for the final application to complete the repaving work.
