This is Day Two of United Way of Knox County’s Days of Caring. Volunteer crews are working today at multiple work sites throughout Knox County. They will clean up, fix up, and paint at area agencies, parks, and public venues.
United Way of Knox County director Mark Hill says the event is a much-anticipated date.
In addition, food collection for area food banks will take place today/at Walmart, JayC, and Sav-A-Lot in Vincennes and the Dollar General Market in Bicknell. Hill likes to see the grocery donations– especially for those wishing to pay it forward. South Knox food collection is being arranged through South Knox High School.
