The Vincennes Board of Works approved two sub-recipient grants for two City HELP projects.
The first is a grant of 378-thousand, 840 dollars for Van Go. The funding will go toward a set of fixed stops across Vincennes. At this time, the fixed Van Go bus route is set to go into place in mid-October.
The second HELP grant will be for 500-thousand dollars for the Little Alice Learning Academy. The Academy is set up at the former preschool location inside the Vincennes YMCA building; it is under the supervision of Vincennes Community Schools.
The grants will go through the City of Vincennes directly to the groups for their use. Both HELP donations were approved u unanimously.
