Rain has forced a delay to today in the planed work on part of Risley Road. Knox County Highway Crews will overlay Risley Road from Freelandville Road to Hunley Road. As part of the schedule, that part of Risley Road will be closed during daylight hours today, and possibly tomorrow.. As always ,the work is weather dependent.
Work is also underway in the Fox Ridge Subdivision. That road project is now set to run through Friday. Flaggers will control traffic in areas where that work is being done.
Drivers are reminded to be aware of the closures and restrictions.
