The Knox County Salvation Army is preparing for next week’s “Coats for Kids” campaign. Coats for Kids will happen from seven a-m to five p-m on Tuesday of next week.
Knox County Salvation Army commander Joey Gates says Coats for Kids isn’t just about coats for kids. As for the community itself, Gates remarks on the great generosity of the citizens of Knox County.
The coats will be cleaned and given out during the Salvation Army’s Christmas sign-up process. That will begin on Monday, October 14th.
