The Vincennes Lincoln Boys tennis team are once again sectional champions. The Alices blanked South Knox
5-0 to claim their second straight sectional crown. Winning in singles play were Joshua Clegg, Mabry Fleck and
Luke Hall. Also posting wins were the doubles team of Joel Sanders and Jaden McCarter and the combination of
Dayton Piper and Michael Watry.
The Lincoln soccer team defeated Eastern Greene 9-nothing. Jude Clark and Morgan Horst each had two goals for
The Alices.
South Knox volleyball team beat Vincennes Lincoln 3-1. For South Knox…Megan Obermeyer had 16 points and 16 digs. Avy Steffey added
15 points and 22 assists while Bren Hill added 15 kills. For Lincoln, Matti Collins had 12 points, 16 digs and 25 assists. Kiaya Farrar
Finished with 11 points and ten kills while Marlo Thorne scored 15 kills. South Knox won the JV match 2-0. Alivia Kehl led the Spartans with 10 points and 13 digs.
Ciarra Herron paced the Alices with 29 digs.
The Rivet Volleyball team was a 3-0 winner over North Central. Mary Herman had 11 kills while Lexi Frey gathered ten digs
And Claudia Herman ten assists.
Middle School Sports
The Clark 7th grade football team beat Evansville North 22-6. Daveon Jennings had two rushing touchdowns and threw for one
On a 17-yard-pass play to Landon Bouchie. Bouchie and Dunn Baker had two-point conversions. The Clark 8th grade pounded Evansville
North 34-8. Landon Hartley had a passing, rushing and kick return for a touchdown. Reid Kelso and Rylee Fellows also had rushing
Touchdowns while Ethan Shoulders caught a touchdown pass and had two interceptions.
North Knox Jr High golf team defeated Sullivan 146-183. Lane Singleton and Kade Williams of North Knox tied for medalist honors with a 35
each
The South Knox 8th grade volleyball team downed Washington 2-0. Brooklyn Flaningam had six points for the Spartans, who finish up the
season at 17-2. The South Knox 7th grade lost to Washington 2-0.
