The Triple A Motor Club says the average price of gas in Indiana Thursday jumped 10 cents from Wednesday and a total of 16 cents since Tuesday when the latest upswing in gas prices began.
Thursday’s average price in the Hoosier state was $3.26 a gallon, five cents higher than Thursday’s national average
It was also 10 cents higher than a week ago, four cents higher than a month ago, and 15 cents lower than a year ago. In Vincennes, prices are still holding the line around 3-15 per gallon on the average. Some of Indiana’s lowest gas prices are in Evansville, where some places have been selling gas below 2-60 per gallon.
Triple A also reports the average price of diesel fuel in Indiana Thursday stood at $3.76 a gallon, two cents higher than Wednesday.
It was also eight cents higher than a week ago, a penny higher than a month ago, and 67 cents lower than a year ago.
