It’s on to the finals of the Washington 2-A soccer sectional for Vincennes Lincoln. Last night, the Alices got past Princeton 3-2 to
move into Saturdays final. Tiah Riggs, Kenzie Doerner and Brylee Quinette had the goals for Lincoln, which will face Gibson Southern
In the Sectional Championship. The Titans blanked the host Hatchets 3-0.
The Rivet girls soccer team advanced to the finals of the Class A Sullivan Sectional, beating the home team
5-1. Lissa Willis had the hat trick for the Patriots, who will take on White River Valley in Saturday afternoon’s final. WRV
took out North Knox 6-1. Audrey Wortsell had the Lady Warriors goal.
The South Knox girls soccer team saw its season come to an end, falling to Forest Park 2-0 at the Northeast Dubois Class A sectional.
The Rangers will face the host Jeeps in the final. Forest Park blanked Tell City 4-0.
Girls volleyball action from last night….
Vincennes Lincoln rallied from two set down to beat North Knox 3-2. For the Alices, Marlo Thorne had 19 kills. Matti Collins a triple
Double of 10 points, 12 digs and 26 assists. Cami Treadway also had 17 points and ten digs. For North Knox, Alex McKinley
Had 18 points and seven kills. Javen Miller 19 points and seven kills. Keely McMillin recorded 21 points.
The Lincoln JV also won 2-1. Reese Heiden had nine points and five kills while Presley Davis had ten assists. The JV finish at 14-8.
Vincennes Rivet celebrated senior night with a 3-0 win over Lawrenceville. Mary Herman had 14 kills while Claudia Herman
Chipped in with 17 assists.
The South Knox volleyball team lost to Princeton 3-1. Bren Hill had 14 kills and 15 digs. Ava Steffey 32 assists and Caroline Beard
29 digs. The South Knox JV volleyball team posted a 2-0 win. Makayla Carie had 12 points while Alivia Kehl recorded 14 digs.
The Clark 8th grade football team finished up the season 10-1 after a convincing 42-6 win at Evansville Memorial. Landon Hartley passed
For three touchdowns, two to Diesel Rogers and the other to Reid Kelso. Kelso also added a rushing touchdown as did
Gibson Greer. In addition, Hartley also returned a kick for a touchdown.
