Two men were arrested Saturday morning in Sullivan County after they stole a truck from a pair of hunters and crashed it into a bridge.
The driver of the stolen truck, Steven McIntyre, was airlifted to an Evansville hospital in critical condition.
A second suspect was spotted walking down the road where the truck had originally been stolen.
39-year-old Kile Jones had an active warrant out of Indianapolis for possession of methamphetamine.
He was arrested after a struggle with officers.
Deputies learned two others left the scene before they arrived.
They also learned of plans to break into a nearby house, however the men fled after being confronted by the property owner armed with a gun.
Jones and McIntyre are both facing numerous felonies.
