November 26th Blood Drive Planned for Expected Blood Shortage

Area blood centers are bracing for an expected 20 percent drop in blood donations during holiday weeks. Those include both the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas.
To help with that shortage, the Knox County Health Department will offer a blood drive on Tuesday, November 26th. The drive will run from nine to noon in the parking lot of the Bierhaus Building on Second Street. The drive will be associated with Versiti Blood Centers
