A heavier than normal turnout has caused some waiting at various vote centers across Knox County. County Clerk’s office workers have taken extra voting machines to clear up longer waits, especially in Vincennes and Monroe City.
As of late morning, Knox County Clerk David Shelton reported 15 to 20 minute waits at most polling places in Vincennes. That is due to a heavy vote, as well as a longer-than normal election ballot this year.
Voting locations across Indiana will stay open from now until six p-m local time.
