Harvest is just about wrapped up in the area at this time. Many farmers were able to get their crops in by the end of October. Knox County Purdue Extension educator Valerie Clingerman says the crops the farmers brought in so far this year are in some cases, better than expected.
However, with prices being down somewhat in the commodities, some farmers are opting to store their harvest for a while, and hope for higher prices later.
