The bells of the Salvation Army’s kettle fund raising campaign are already sounding in Vincennes. Knox County Salvation Army commander Joey Gates says the first bells are asking for donations from people trying to live a creative life– at Hobby Lobby Gates says those stores have graciously allowed them to ring early to make up for lost time from a late Thanksgiving.
However, more ringers are needed. At this time, Gates reported over 800 hours of ringing time are still unclaimed. anyone wishing to volunteer this Christmas season can sign up online at registertoring-doc-com.
