Knox County Indiana Economic Development officials are working toward growth this coming year. K-C-I-E-D board member Tim Smith says one of the focuses this year is fostering the next big idea. Another goal is expansion of current companies. Smith says history shows that strategy works.
Another big driver for K-C-I-E-D this coming year is a focus on quality of life issues. Local authorities believe the quality of life improvements will help drive business and workforce to Vincennes. The other major thrust for K-C-I-E-D is expanding and improving the City’s available housing options.
