Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum is setting up his priorities for updates to the City’s park and recreation plans. The ideas were laid out in a 71-page five-year plan submitted at last week’s Vincennes City Council session.
Mayor Yochum says one idea is recreational cabins near the Vincennes Boat Club in Pearl City.
The Mayor, along with other City leaders, is also behind a connector path between the City’s existing parks. City officials are glad to have the plan, since it could be a gateway to various grants to help pay for the various recreation-based ideas.
