The Courage House in Knox County is taking action against the opioid crisis by offering a Narcan training class to equip the public with life-saving skills. The class will teach participants how to administer Narcan, or naloxone, which reverses the effects of opioids for up to two hours.
Courage House administrator Mark Storms will lead the class tomorrow at 6 p.m. at the Knox County Public Library. Storms, a former addict with 30 years of recovery experience, is dedicated to helping others battling addiction.
