Clay County is rolling out a new emergency public notification system called Code Red to keep residents informed during emergencies.
Soon, people will be able to sign up with just a few clicks to receive important alerts, ensuring no one is left in the dark when it matters most.
The system comes after residents requested tornado sirens following tornadoes in Sullivan County in 2023.
