Area Hospitals Get Honors for Pediatric Health

     Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Newburgh’s Women’s Hospital at Deaconess, and Jasper’s Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center are being recognized by the Indiana Hospital Association for their commitment to infant and maternal health as part of the fifth annual INspire Hospital of Distinction recognition program.
      The hospitals earned INspire Hospital of Distinction recognition based on implementing best practices in key areas, including infant safe sleep, breastfeeding, perinatal substance use, social drivers of health, obstetric hemorrhage, and maternal hypertension.
