KC Health Department Planning Dental Care Action in Schools

The Knox County Health Department is moving into helping people with dental assistance. The work started earlier this year with help to younger children. Health Department chief nurse Betty Lankford says the root of the dental service will be in the County’s elementary schools.

Health Department officials hope to expand that treatment to other groups in need in the future.
