Police Pursue Stolen Vehicle; Arrest Driver in Daviess County

      A man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after fleeing deputies in a stolen vehicle.
      Greene County Sheriff’s deputies had been on the lookout for the vehicle traveling on State Road 58 from Monroe County.
      The vehicle was spotted on State Road 58 near US 231.
      The driver then fled into Daviess County on US 231 where the vehicle began to swerve into oncoming traffic.
      Authorities apprehended the driver after using OnStar to disable the vehicle.
      The driver, who was not identified, was found to be wanted out of the state of Illinois for possession of a stolen vehicle and transported to Monroe County for charges relating to the stolen vehicle.
