The National Weather Service says an EF-1 tornado crossed the East Fork White River from Pike County into southern Daviess County early Saturday morning and continued to skip northeast, ending just west of Loogootee.
The most significant damage was to a farm at County Road 100 South and County Road 1025 East in Daviess County.
The farm sustained damage consistent with an EF1 tornado with winds around 100 mph.
Damage occurred to several metal farm outbuildings.
A piece of 2×4 was driven through the windshield of a semi-truck.
Two large grain bins were destroyed with debris thrown at least a mile northeast.
Extensive storm damage was also reported in Gibson and Pike Counties, especially in Oakland City in Gibson County.
