The Vincennes Parks Department, along with the group “Rotary Young Leaders,” will attempt to gain a Patronicity grant for a planned project. The R-Y-L is seeking a 50-thousand dollar matching donation for construction of a basketball court at Lester Square in Vincennes.
Allie Bobe iwith Rotary Young Leaders says there are definite guidelines they must reach to gain the match from the State of Indiana.
Rotary Young Leaders is the second Vincennes group to seek the Patronicity match. The other group trying for that state funding is Old Town Players. The O-T-P donation deadline date is April 29th.
