Work continues forward on work to the site of the future Emergency Operations Center. The Center will be placed on the site of the ol Poor Farm building off Hart Street Road just east of Vincennes.
At last night’s Knox county Commissioners’ session, Council president T-J Brink reported work continues with architect R-Q-A-W on building drawings. The drawings are expected to be complete by mid-May, with construction bids to be let by the end of May.
Also, County officials are working with KCARC on moving some electric equipment to the back of the property. Further, Brink reported core sampling and other preparation work continues. That work is expected to be completed sometime in April.
