Vincennes—like many other communities around the entire region—dealt with localized flooding, following three days of heavy rain. Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum says usual City areas affected by heavy rain were affected again. Mayor Yochum says the City handled the flooding pretty well—but now the focus shifts to flooding in the Wabash River.
At this time, the Wabash is at 20 feet and rising at Vincennes. The top level for this event is forecast at 22 feet; that crest is expected on Saturday.
