A good group of people will once again walk through downtown Vincennes as part of the annual “Way of The Cross” Walk. The annual event will start at the Old Cathedral around noon, and stop at 14 places across downtown Vincennes.
Good Samaritan Hospital chaplain Trevor Murry is heading this year’s event. He gives the idea for the traditional downtown event. Murry says over the years, the annual Good Friday trek has had both good weather—and good attendance.
This is the 17th year for the annual Way of the Cross Walk. The Good Friday centered procession begins at the time when God darkened the sky during Jesus’ crucifixion on the Cross at Calvary.
