The Knox County Indiana Economic Development Corporation is focusing on job retention as a strategy for job growth, along with job attraction. K-C-I-E-D-C director Chris Pfaff calls it a deliberate, targeted approach to grow the County from within—a strategy that some counties lack. Pfaff says the goal is to grow Knox County from within—with business that is already in place.
Pfaff says that approach is balanced with outside business attraction. He calls it a major part of the overall game plan to improve the Knox County economy.
