United Way of KC Presents Checks for Kindergarten Jump Start

The United Way of Knox County has presented checks to three Knox County schools for the Kindergarten Jump Start program. The program is a summertime initiative to help kids be ready for their elementary school experience this coming fall.
The checks were given to representatives from North Knox Primary School, South Knox Elementary, and Vincennes’ Riley Elementary. The money will help with the program itself, pre- and post-program screening, and the Bedtime in a Box initiatie. Bedtime in a Box is a program ensuring good bedtime rituals for younger school age children.
