The 20th annual Burkhart Insurance Citywide Cleanup will happen in Vincennes and in Washington tomorrow. Throughout the morning tomorrow, crews in both cities will head out to beautify the streets by collecting roadside trash in each area.
Audra Marsee is with Burkhart Insurance. She says over 20 years, the community knows and supports the work volunteers are doing each year on the first Saturday in May.
Burkhart’s Tyler Kroeger also realizes it is a fund-raising chance, as well as a way to clean up the city.
The timing of the Cleanup is also designed to be a “apring cleaning,” to help put the City’s best foot forward toward summer activities and festivals.
